1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, applying for membership, or using FFN, you agree to these Terms of Use and applicable FFN policies. Membership applicants must also complete the required Statement of Faith and Membership Standards & Professional Conduct commitments.
2. Eligibility and account responsibility
You must provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account. You are responsible for activity occurring through your account and for promptly notifying FFN of suspected unauthorized access.
3. Membership and approval
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. FFN may approve, request changes to, reject, restrict, or decline a membership or directory listing in its reasonable discretion consistent with the purpose and standards of the network and applicable law.
4. Faith, standards, and professional conduct
Members must continue to satisfy FFN's membership requirements and conduct themselves consistently with the Membership Standards & Professional Conduct requirements. Misrepresentation, fraud, harassment, abusive behavior, spam, exploitation of members, unlawful activity, or conduct that materially undermines community trust may result in action by FFN.
5. Suspension, directory removal, and termination
FFN may investigate reported or observed conduct and may issue warnings, request corrective action, restrict features, suspend an account, remove or hide a public directory listing, or terminate membership. Directory removal and membership suspension or termination may occur independently. Serious conduct may result in immediate action when FFN reasonably believes it is necessary to protect members, the network, or FFN.
6. Fees, subscriptions, cancellation, and refunds
Paid membership fees, billing frequency, and any trial or promotional terms are disclosed when you subscribe. Subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled according to the applicable checkout and account-management process. Suspension, directory removal, or termination for a standards or policy violation does not automatically create a right to a refund, except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in a written FFN refund policy or offer.
6A. Founding Member program
FFN may offer Founding Member status to a limited number of early paid members. Founder pricing remains available only while the member maintains continuous paid membership. Eligible Founding Members may move between designated paid Founder plans without losing Founder status. Cancellation, lapse of paid membership, or termination ends the Founder pricing benefit. A Founder number may remain associated with the historical account and is not reassigned. Founding Member status is recognition of early participation and is not a guarantee of verification, results, referrals, or endorsement.
7. Directory listings and member content
You retain responsibility for content you submit. You grant FFN permission to host, reproduce, format, and display submitted content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the network, including approved public business-directory listings. You represent that you have the right to submit logos, text, images, and other content you provide.
8. Referrals, connections, and verification
FFN facilitates introductions and relationships but is not a party to transactions between members or visitors. Verification means a business completed FFN's participation review and is currently approved; it is not an endorsement, certification, warranty, guarantee, or promise of performance. You are responsible for your own due diligence and business decisions.
9. Public service inquiries
FFN may allow public visitors to submit service inquiries directly to member businesses. FFN delivers the information supplied by the visitor to the selected business and may provide tools for the member to track follow-up and outcomes. FFN is not the provider, broker, agent, guarantor, or party to any resulting service relationship or transaction. Visitors and members are responsible for their own communications, due diligence, agreements, licensing checks, pricing, payment arrangements, and business decisions. Members may not misuse service-inquiry information for unrelated mass marketing, resale, harassment, or other purposes inconsistent with the inquiry.
10. Acceptable use
You may not attempt to disrupt or compromise the service; scrape or harvest member information for unauthorized mass solicitation; impersonate others; misuse private information; distribute malware; circumvent access controls; or use FFN for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
11. Intellectual property
FFN's name, branding, software, site design, and original platform content are owned by or licensed to Faith Focused Network and may not be copied or used in a way that implies authorization, partnership, endorsement, or certification without permission.
12. Disclaimers
FFN is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. FFN does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, referrals, leads, revenue, member conduct, business performance, or the accuracy of every statement made by members. Content on FFN is not a substitute for legal, tax, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FFN and its owners, operators, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the service or dealings between users. Any limitations required to be stated differently under applicable law will apply only to the extent legally permitted.
14. Changes
FFN may update these terms and related policies as the network evolves. Material changes may require renewed acceptance or additional notice. Continued use after an effective update may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
